November, Ian and Jan bought along a selection of Portuguese wines to sample and discuss in preparation for their pending holiday in Portugal. December we held our Christmas Social at the Athenaeum, a very convivial evening with a good selection of wines and nibbles. Maggie supplied an excellent wine based quiz, which was won by Stewart. January Chris and Barbara did selection of South African wines, which included Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay
