Tai chi - or more correctly "tai chi qigong" - a series of sequenced movements developed in China and other far Eastern countries over hundreds of years that follow the breath that allow for greater cultivation of energy and thus lead to overall improved health. You wont need special equipment or clothing, only loose fitting and comfortable clothes. Each session will be to teach a number of moves that you can practise at home which may lead to health benefits such as; increased energy levels, improved circulation and strength, reduce stress and anxiety, improving sleep, and better balance and flexibility.
We begin with a gentle warm-up to stretch and get our bodies moving. Then we will focus on a number of movements from the tai chi qigong and other qi gong movements. The last part of the lesson will be more meditative with exercises to directly increase energy flow generated in the session with Rieki self healing and the use of acupressure. The sessions will be led by Nick who has practised tai chi qi gong for over 30 years.
